NEW APPOINTMENTS AT THE INSTITUTE: DR. OMOTAYO TAKES CHARGE AS COORDINATOR OF LIAISON OFFICES

In compliance with a recent government directive emphasizing adherence to order and best practices, the Institute has announced new appointments to its leadership structure.

Dr. Taiwo Omotayo has been appointed as the new Coordinator of Liaison Offices, succeeding Mr. Afolabi Aládé, who has been redeployed as the new Deputy Registrar (Academics).

The reshuffle also saw new postings for heads of zonal offices across the country’s geopolitical zones. The new appointees include:

  • Dr. Sunday Adegbesan (South-South office, Edo State)
  • Dr. Opeyemi Oyekan (North-Eastern office, Adamawa State)
  • Dr. Deborah Eyarefe (North-West office, Kaduna State)
  • Dr. Nojeem Oresajo (North-Central office, Abuja, FCT)
  • Dr. Mrs. Elizabeth Ayim (continuing as Ebonyi South-East office head)
  • Dr. Lara Ogunsola (continuing as Lagos South-West office head)

The Acting Director-General, Dr. David Shofoyeke, charged the new heads to revitalize and reposition their respective offices for enhanced performance, aligning with ministerial deliverables. He emphasized the importance of monthly reports and serving as ambassadors for the Institute.

Responding on behalf of the new liaison heads, Dr. Omotayo expressed gratitude to the Ag. DG and pledged to deliver excellence in his new role. He acknowledged the significant progress made since Dr. Shofoyeke assumed office a year ago.
