Dr A. D. Shofoyeke, Male, attended University of Lagos Akoka, Yaba and University of Ibadan, Ibadan both in Nigeria where he bagged B.Sc. (Ed) Mathematics Education in 1990, M.Ed.  Curriculum Studies in Population Education in 1994 and Ph.D Social Studies with bias in Population Education in 2002 respectively as well as Diploma in Computer Science.   He began his job career at National Institute for Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA) in August 2003 as a Training and Research Fellow II and is currently Chief Training and Research Fellow. He has held many positions within the Institute such as Head: Training and Research Department; Research Department; North-Central Liaison Office, Abuja; Committees and Union. He is currently the Acting Director General/Chief Executive of the Institute.

He received many trainings to enhance his capacity on Education Sector Strategic and Operational Planning, Projection and Simulation Model, Education Sector Plan Appraisal, Institutional Development Planning, Policy Formulation, Course Design and Writing, Participatory Mode of Training, Distance Learning, Action Research and Whole School Development through UNESCO IIEP Paris, University of South Africa (UNISA), World Bank Institute, and International Development Partners including (DFID) respectively. His training and research focus are on Population related issues in education, training of education managers and education sector planners.

David Shofoyeke is a consultant to: the World Bank on Global Partnership on Education (GPE); UNICEF on Education Sector and Operational Planning, Local Education Strategic Operational Plan (LESOP) and Medium Term Basic Education Strategic Plan (MTBESP); Federal Ministry of Education on Review of National Policy on NEMIS, National policy on Violence free-school for children in Nigeria; and many states on Education Sector and Operational Plans. Served as one of the lead assessors of MTBESP H for 36 states and FCT, the World Bank and FME BESDA Project assigned to the Institute in 2022. Led UNESCO consultancy project awarded to the Institute on capacity needs assessment of the Planners and Managers at FME and NIEPA.

As a scholar and dutiful officer, he has published over 50 articles in national and international journals in addition to attending many local and international conferences. He is versatile in writing training workshop and research proposals, training modules, and training guides and proficient in workshop management. He participated actively in the development and review of education sector strategic and operational plans of many states among which are Niger, Akwa Ibom, Nasarawa, Borno, Kastina, Ogun, Sokoto, Zamfara and Kogi states. Besides, he has good leadership qualities, result oriented and represented the Institute at many for a such the Institute’s Council, NCE official meetings, among others.

Dr Shofoyeke enjoys travelling, mixing with people, sharing of knowledge and experiences. He is happily married with children.

The Acting Registrar, Olaolu Festus Olagoke was born in Okeigbo, area of Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo Local Government of Ondo State. He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Management Studies from Usman Danfodio University, Sokoto (UDUS) in 1998. Young Olaolu in his thirst for knowledge embarked on another Degree programme at Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma, Edo State where he obtained another Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and a Master’s Degree in the same field.

To further equip himself with essential managerial skills that would make him function in the challenging and dynamic Nigerian Environment, he bagged a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State in 2008. Olaolu’s desire for academic conquest propelled him to seek a Doctoral Degree in Educational Management with a specialty in Economics Education from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State where he researched on Internal Efficiency of Public Universities in South Western Nigeria.

A seasoned and experienced administrator, Festus Olaolu has held various administrative/managerial positions namely:

  6. Procurement Officer, NIEPA, 2013 -2014
  7. Secretary, 2006/2007 Bureau of Public Service Reform Obasanjo led Administration, NIEPA Chapter
  8. Head, Establishment/Personnel Unit – 2007-2009 & 2013-2014
  9. The Chairman, NIEPA Landed Property Committee
  10. Head, NIEPA South East Zonal Office Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, 2018 – 2020
  11. Head/Deputy Registrar Academic Affairs 2021 – 2023
  12. Progenitor and Pioneer Chairman of NIEPA SSANU Chapter which metamorphosed into SSAUTHRIAI Union NIEPA Branch in 2005.

Olaolu is a member of the Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM) and also a member of the Academy of Entrepreneurial Studies of Nigeria (AES). 

He is happily married and blessed with children.

Mrs. OLOLADE ADEBOLA OJOLAYO

Mrs. Ololade Adebola Ojolayo, born on August 10, 1975, in Ondo, Ondo State, is a seasoned accountant and financial manager with a passion for academic and professional excellence. She holds a Higher National Diploma in Accountancy from The Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State (2001), a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Management from the University of Ado Ekiti (now Ekiti State University) (2005), and a Master’s in Business Administration from the same institution (2007).

Mrs. Ojolayo brings a wealth of experience in accounting, administration, and financial management, having served in various capacities, including:

Mrs. Ojolayo is a member of several national and international professional and humanitarian organizations, including the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN). She has rendered invaluable services to humanity through these organizations.

Personal Interests

In her free time, Mrs. Ojolayo enjoys reading, singing, and playing table tennis.
