The System Support Unit is a service Unit which performs the following functions:
- 
Designing, Installation and Maintenance of computer networks, including Local Area Networks (LANs), Wide Area Networks (WANs), the Internet, intranets, and other data communications systems.
- 
Ensures networks are running smoothly and upgrades networks to provide maximum performance.
- 
Oversee daily computer performance, provide technical support and install software for computer users.
- 
Setting up of new equipment and keeping records of service.
- 
Performing minor repair works.
- 
Providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software.
- 
Responds to queries, runs diagnostic programs, isolates problem, and determines and implements solution.
- 
Develop manuals and conduct series of computer and ICT related trainings for education planners and managers.
- 
Any other business assigned.
