NIEPA ACTING DG FELICITATES WITH MUSLIM COMMUNITY ON EID-EL-KABIR

The Acting Director General of the Nigerian Institute for Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA), Dr. David Shofoyeke, has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim community Institute, General staff and clients on the occasion of this year’s Eid ul-Adha, which is the festival of the great sacrifice.

In a statement released by the Institute’s Media Officer, Bodunde Tenabe, Dr. Shofoyeke expressed his heartfelt congratulations to Muslim faithful all over the country, acknowledging the significance of the Eid-el-Kabir celebration. as it teaches absolute faith in Allah that was demonstrated in the act of Prophet Ibrahim through this submission to sacrifice his son as demanded by Allah. Allah was pleased with him and substituted the son with a ram.

“Eid-el-Kabir is a joyous occasion that bring joy and abundant blessings to you and your loved ones. I congratulate our Muslim brothers and sisters on this auspicious occasion ” Dr. Shofoyeke said.

The Acting Director General also highlighted the significance of Eid-el-Kabir in promoting cultural exchange and community engagement. “As we celebrate Eid-el-Kabir, we are reminded of the importance of cultural exchange and understanding. It is our Prayer that Almighty Allah, the most beneficent, and the most merciful, will bring bountiful rewards, outstanding progress to everyone, our Muslim clients and staff.

“Furthermore, Eid-el-Kabir is a time for community engagement and social responsibility. I encourage our staff and clients to participate in charity events, food distributions, and other social activities that promote the well-being of our Institute community,” Dr. Shofoyeke added.

On behalf of the management and staff of NIEPA, Dr. Shofoyeke extended warm greetings to the Muslim community, wishing them a joyous and peaceful celebration, filled with love, laughter, and quality time with family and friends. He also prayed for continued peace, prosperity, and progress in Nigeria and around the world.
